One of our key strategic objectives is to develop and commercialize products that are currently import-dependent in India. Our R&D team is actively working on molecules and formulations that can replace imported intermediates and specialty surfactants, creating sustainable value for the Indian chemical ecosystem while improving self-reliance for our customers.
Collaboration-Driven Innovation
To accelerate our technology roadmap, SSL has entered into Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) with 11 leading companies across India and overseas. These collaborations allow us to jointly explore new chemistries, optimize performance, and co-create surfactants that align with global trends and customer-specific requirements.

SSL has made significant strides by establishing a state-of-the-art R&D Centre at our Mandideep facility. This centre is equipped with state of the art:

Application Centre: From Chemistry to Performance
Alongside our R&D facility, SSL has built a dedicated Application Centre at Mandideep. This specialized centre allows us to evaluate how our surfactants behave across:

- Diverse formulations
- Variable process conditions
